I think its pretty fair. I dont really see any bad acquisitions, except maybe for Memphis, but thats pretty good for giving up basically no one and a player who doesnt want to play there in the first place
The lakers get an ok deal too with O'Neal, maybe they can get past the first round this time with this line up...
G Fisher
G Bryant
F Walton
F O'Neal
C Bynum/or Mihm
And Indiana gets a great deal. They dont have a good team anyways, and with Pau and Jefferson, thats a good basis, and Rad would do this job.
New Jersey get an alright deal too. Everyone says Odom is bad, but i think that would be a great team with Kidd, Carter and Odom, they will be pretty darn good. This probably wont happen with all 4 teams, but its pretty cool.
Is this a good NBA trade for all the teams involved?nba fights
Good trade except for the Memphis Grizzlies. They give up Gasol to get poor quality centers in Jason Collins and Kwame Brown. They do not solve their problems by getting them and they obviously do not fill the spot that Gasol once filled. Excluding the Grizzlies, all the teams fare well. They all improve in the areas they need to improve in. But because the Grizzlies seem to get the short end of the stick, I don't think this trade would ever even be considered. The Grizzlies wouldn't trade Pau Gasol for a bunch of nobodies that include a No. 1 bust draft pick in 2001.
Is this a good NBA trade for all the teams involved?fan gear ,nba teams
Nets and the Lakers get ripped off? Hardly. At least the Nets are getting back two good players in Murphy and Odom while the Lakers are getting Jermaine O'Neal.
The Grizzlies are the ones getting ripped off here. They are giving up Pau Gasol for 3 scrubs.
I think it is good for the Lakers and Pacers not the Nets and Grizz.
your right.....a good trade for all except memphis.giving up gasol in a 4 team deal and only getting 3 scrubs in return is not gonna happen.
not a bad trade.
Memphis gets ripped off completely
yea i do agree, i mean you should give the lakers some credit, they do have a lot of talent and with the loss of Odom, they got one of the most dominating big man in the game today, O'Neal. And combined with Kobe, they could go past the first round, maybe second
Nets and Lakers get ripped off bad.
It's a fair deal.
