that is one of the greatest trades i've seen on yahoo answers. both teams benefit from it, mainly the rockets, but i'm a rockets fan. they get rid of sura (taking up cap space), alston (they have too many guards), and john lucas. in return, they get julian wright (an athletic forward), a shooter in butler, and another decent guard in jackson.

Chris Paul is gonna be way better than Alston.

John Lucas, Bob Sura, and Rafer Alston sound like curbside trash. If this trade goes down FIMA may have to get involved!

I think that trade is in favor of the Rockets. Alston is solid, but Jackson makes up for him easily. Lucas wont get much playing time and Sura, who had a good end of the season a few years ago, has been injured mostly since then so it's hard to tell. I really feel that Wright is the key player in the deal and he is what gives Houston the edge. Interesting to look at, but I think it's in the Rockets favor so it wouldn't necessarily work.
